It feels odd to share this thought, but I wanted Abby to be a boy. I always wanted one girl and one boy, as if it would make me feel complete. However, these two girls are the best of friends and I wouldn't have it any other way. I thank God that we have two girls, they are going to grow up together and are lucky to have one another. And Nate and I are blessed to see their relationship and friendship grow more and more every day.

Being president this year meant that the girls got to (so very patiently) see the operational side of the pool. They were the first to swim in the pool this year, they even got to walk around in it once it was drained!

In the years to come, the girls will see eye-to-eye, much less. They both have very different personalities. Even still, despite their differences, they will forever be best friends and they will grow old together. I am eager to see what the future holds for their relationship!
