"I Do"

Five years after Nathan and I recited our vows and said, "I do", we celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary! Nathan bought me some beautiful spring flowers and a new set of Emeril pots and pans! I didn't get him anything because we agreed that our furniture was our anniversary gift to one another, but Nate didn't follow the agreement; I think I'm OK with that :)
We had a weekend full of exciting stuff and babysitters planned. Saturday brought us to the Melting Pot for dinner, where Nathan asked me to be his wife!
We had a champagne toast on the house!
Lobster tail! We also had a variety of meats including salmon, fillet mignon, teriyaki beef, chicken, and shrimp. We also enjoyed a bottle of Pinot Grigio.
We chose the Oreo Marshmallow chocolate for desert.
After dinner we went to the Celtic and ended our night on the patio at Moe's. We got up early on Sunday morning and enjoyed breakfast at the Broken Tee Restaurant and then played the Par 3. Later, in the afternoon, my Mom took the girls and Nate and I enjoyed another couple of hours of peace and quite. We had dinner and drinks at Chili's!
We had such a wonderful weekend that reminded us how important it is to make sure to plan one-on-one time together.
The past five years have flown by. Nathan and I are so looking forward to many, many, many more anniversaries!
Nate, Elizabeth, and I on our wedding day! Thank you Nathan, for being such a loving, understanding, supportive, and amazing husband. I am so thrilled that we are going to spend the rest of our lives together and look forward to what the next five years will bring! I love you!
