Another fun adventure we had this year took us to Cherry Creek Reservoir where we had the chance to go boating with some friends from church!
The girls had been on boats before, but had never had the chance to go tubing (Grand Lake is a little cold for that). In fact, this was the first time I would get to go tubing as well!
Abby was content sitting in the bow of the boat as we sped across the water!
Elizabeth was also excited about being on the boat...but she was meant for greater things!
I would say she logged about two hours of tubing that day! She had so much fun!
I had a chance to go out with the girls as well. Wow! It was hard, my arms were sore for a week afterwards! It was worth it though, so much fun!
After spending some time on the boat, we took a break for some food. Bruce and Maggie met us and got a chance to watch the girls go back out on the tubes again.
What a fun day! It was a nice surprise from a friend and it has me excited to think about getting a boat of our own.
