Baking at (Great) Grandma 's has been a long-standing tradition in our family! Although we have missed out on the past couple of years, the girls jumped right in as if they had never missed a beat!
I can recall many of the cookie cutters from when I was a little girl!
Pops made these special containers for the girls' cookies.
Great-Grandma helping Elizabeth to roll out the dough.
Abigail is very independent!
I took a copy of Grandma's Sugar (Bear) Cookie Cutouts. Of course, the recipe never turns out the same when I do it!
We rolled out the dough, cut out the cookies, and then frosted them!
On Christmas Eve, I made my own baked goods for gifting. Nothing like waiting until the last minute!
Mom's Chai bread recipe.
Nate has been super Dad through the holidays. I was feeling a little overwhelmed though out the day of Christmas Eve so Nate stepped up to help ease some of my stress. He helped to man the glue gun while we assembled our Christmas craft.
Nathan also helped the girls to frost cutout cookies.
The Angelittes turned out nicely.
Finished and glazed Chai loaves.
Assembled gift baskets! Good work VanDusseldorp family!
Santa brought me a Kitchen Aid mixer for Christmas this year.
I could have made great use of this one day sooner!
