Among many, many other firsts this week, Elizabeth had her first day of the 1st grade! While Izzy was excited to start a new year, I think that she was a little nervous about meeting a new teacher and new friends.
We packed up a lunch to take on the first day.
Abby also had her first day back at Mrs. Diana's!
We are excited to be at Peabody. We love everything about the school and even more so now that we only live two blocks away. Makes for a lovely morning stroll (until it starts snowing anyways).
Despite a little anxiety, our shy little 6 year-old walked into school and had a wonderful 1st day. By the end of the week, she had already made new friends and was rewarded for doing so well in the classroom all week.
Way to go Elizabeth!
