I adore fall and Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, but I have to be honest--after Abby's Halloween-themed Birthday party in September, I was Halloweened-out by the time the holiday actually arrived.
We kicked off the Halloween events with the Streets of SouthGlenn Trick-or-Treat Street. We met the girls' cousins and some of our friends for some safe, neighborhood fun!
Then, I took off the afternoon from my internship to be a part of Elizabeth's classroom Halloween party. The head room parents in Mrs. Tardif's class did an amazing job! The kids had so much fun.
Then we geared up for some trick-or-treating with Caleb! We were excited to make our round in our new neighborhood. This was the first time where we weren't worried about the kids running ahead and taking candy from strangers! (Sort of an interesting concept now that I think about it!)
There was a spooky house on Maplewood St. that Abigail was very uninterested in. Caleb and Zib-Zib enjoyed it!

We went back to Dan and Julie's for pizza. We met Bruce and Maggie as well as Juder and Gus who were about as tuckered out as the rest of us!
The Halloween decorations came down ASAP on Friday, November 1st! Nate said that they didn't even stand a chance! Next year I will better appreciate the holiday for a week rather than a month!
I will say, one good thing about excessive Halloween is that the girls made good use out of the Halloween costumes!
