Summer classes started this week so I needed to go downtown to Auraria Campus to purchase my textbooks. The girls and I decided that it would be a lot of fun to catch the lightrail (a.k.a. the "choo-choo train") and ride it downtown.
So we packed up our water bottles, a few snacks and the camera and went on a field trip!
| The girls patiently wait for the train. |
| Elizabeth was in awe every time that we went over a bridge! |
| Abigail giggled for the first five minutes. She thought that the movement of the train was so silly. |
| I told the girls that if they behaved on campus and in the bookstore I would buy them lunch. |
| We hit Subway in the Tivoli Student Union food court and had some turkey subs! |
| We stopped on the way back to the train for a photo in front of the tall buildings. |
The girls were so well behaved and we had such a great time on our field trip downtown! I get so much joy out of watching life through the eyes of my children. Elizabeth and Abigail are such blessings and they make daunting tasks entertaining and enjoyable!
I thank God for the opportunity to share in such happiness!
